Submission Guidelines
Steps for Abstract Submission
- All abstracts must be submitted and received in the period from Nov. 01, 2021 to May 13, 2022 through 2022 APASL STC on HCC Abstract Portal.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Words limitation:
- Title – Except for articles, prepositions, and conjunctions, each word should be initially capitalized.
- Abstract – maximum of 500 words
- Acceptable structure of an abstract must consist of four components: Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
- The participant submitting the abstract MUST provide one presenting author. The presenting author of an accepted abstract (oral and poster) must register to have his/her abstract included in the final program.
- The same abstract cannot be submitted for consideration in different abstract categories.
- The on-line submission also indicates the copyright agreement to publish the abstracts for all purposes of the Conference usage without further notice.
- Authors are strongly advised to ensure the accuracy of the submitted abstracts. Any mistakes in literature or in scientific facts will be published as what is typed.
- All authors named in this abstract have agreed to its submission for presentation at 2022 APASL STC on HCC, and that the authors are responsible for the data and agree with the stated results.
- The Scientific Committee of the 2022 APASL STC on HCC, reserves the right to accept or refuse an abstract, to designate abstract oral or poster presentation and to choose a suitable session for the abstract. The authors’ preference of the type of the presentation and theme will be taken into account.
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the 2022 APASL STC on HCC. The result will be informed by emailing a notice of acceptance/rejection to presenting authors.
- To encourage the abstract submission, the organizing committee will provide a special award of USD 1,000 to the top 10 winners of Best Oral, Best Poster, Young Investigator Award (YIA), and Presidential Award. In addition, the top 100 Outstanding Abstracts will be awarded a grant of USD 100. The registration fee will be waived for ALL local authors, and international authors that are under the age of 45.
Young Investigator Award
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be younger than 45 (born after December 31, 1977).
- Candidates must submit an oral abstract via the Online Abstract Submission System, and register for and attend the full Conference if accepted.
- The award presenting for the Young Investigator Award (YIA) will be held at Closing Ceremony on June 25, 2022.
How to Apply
- Candidates should check the Young Investigator Awards (YIA) box while submitting an abstract via the Online Abstract Submission System before the deadline of May 13, 2022.
- Scanned copy of ID Card/ Passport (clearly indicating Date of Birth and Nationality) is required.
